We have posted this note on our website so that clients who encounter Home Reports after 1st December 2008 can see why we steadfastly opposed this ill conceived piece of legislation, can understand our areas of concern and can with our help seek to manage their house sale plans as best may be in light of the imposition of the Home Reports system.

We invite all our clients to write to their own MSP, to Alex Salmond and to Stewart Maxwell, the responsible Minister, at Holyrood to register their opposition since only protests from ordinary members of the public are likely to sway a government which has ignored the protests of more than two thousand solicitors who all registered their opposition to this flawed system.
