Attorneys & Guardians

A power of attorney is a legal document which authorises another person (an 'attorney') to handle your affairs for you. It is often a useful way of removing the worry of dealing with your finances in later years. If ill health prevents you from appointing an attorney, a court may, if your family approves, appoint someone (a 'guardian') to manage your affairs.

A welfare power of attorney can allow your family and friends to take health and personal welfare decisions for you.

We can prepare powers of attorney or arrange for a guardian to be appointed. Our partners will be pleased to act as your attorney or guardian if you feel that is appropriate.
